This will take the form of qualitative analysis as well as standardised tests to help identify specific next steps and targets that could be used to create a learning plan so that specific gaps that a young person may have are addressed and their learning strengths built upon. Recommendations will be provided that could be used in the school environment as well as some strategies that could also be used at home. A literacy difficulties assessment is not as extensive as a dyslexia assessment but will focus more specifically on practical strategies to help develop the young person's reading, spelling and writing skills.
